1. Who handles your information
William Humble operates ServiceArc as an individual based in Virginia, USA. Contact whumble95@gmail.com with privacy questions or requests.
We decide how account, support, and service-operation information is used to run ServiceArc.
For personal data imported on a business customer’s instructions, that customer determines the purpose. We process it for them under our Data Processing Addendum.
If your service contractor uses ServiceArc, contact that contractor first about your customer records. We will help route requests when needed.
2. Information we collect
We receive information from you, from connected Housecall Pro accounts, and from requests your browser sends to the service.
Imported records can include the original API response, including fields that are not displayed in ServiceArc.
- Account information: email address, authentication information, account identifiers, and records of agreement versions and acceptance times.
- Billing information: billing contact details, company identifiers, subscription status, prices, invoices, and payment references. Stripe collects payment details through its hosted pages.
- Connection information: Housecall Pro API credentials, company identifiers, locations, connection status, and synchronization records.
- Business records: customer names, email addresses, phone numbers, service addresses, coordinates, tags, notes, jobs, schedules, and assigned staff.
- Related records: descriptions, line items, prices, invoice references, balances, pricebook services, saved lists, filters, and booking drafts.
- Support and technical information: messages you send, IP addresses, browser details, request times, errors, and operational logs.
3. How we use information
We use information to provide the features you request, authenticate users, import records, organize work, and carry out confirmed actions.
We also use it to answer support requests, diagnose faults, protect the service, communicate account changes, and meet legal obligations.
We do not sell or rent personal information. We do not use imported customer records for advertising or AI model training.
4. Providers and other disclosures
We share information as needed with providers that help operate ServiceArc and with services you choose to connect.
Authorized support access is limited to work needed to operate, troubleshoot, or secure the service.
We may disclose information when legally required, to protect rights or safety, or to investigate misuse.
A business transfer may involve information transfer, subject to this Policy and required notices. We do not permit unrelated advertising use of imported records.
- Supabase provides the database, authentication, and backend functions. Connected business records and API credentials are stored using Supabase services.
- Vercel provides application hosting and processes web requests and associated technical logs.
- Resend delivers account confirmation and password-recovery emails. It processes recipient addresses, message content, and delivery records.
- Stripe processes subscription payments and billing management. It receives billing contact details, company identifiers, payment information, and related technical information.
- Google provides the Gmail mailbox used for support. Messages and any information you include in them pass through that service.
- CARTO supplies map resources when you open a map. Requests include your IP address and the geographic tiles needed for the displayed area.
- Housecall Pro supplies connected records and receives actions you authorize. It handles information under its own terms and privacy policy.
6. Retention and deletion
We keep connected records while needed to provide your account’s features. Disconnecting Housecall Pro does not automatically remove data already imported.
Contact us to request an export, account closure, or deletion. These requests are handled manually after we verify your authority.
We delete or return connected personal data under the Data Processing Addendum when service ends or a valid deletion instruction applies.
Limited records may be retained when needed for legal obligations, security, accounting, or disputes. We restrict their use to those purposes.
Residual backup copies may remain until the provider’s backup cycle removes them. They remain protected and are not used for ordinary service operations.
Deleting ServiceArc data does not delete the original records in Housecall Pro. Those records require a separate request to the responsible business or provider.
7. Security
We use access controls, authenticated connections, and protected credential storage to help safeguard information.
No service can guarantee complete security. Use a strong password, limit API access, and report suspected unauthorized access promptly.
Please do not send API keys, passwords, or unnecessary customer records by email.
8. Processing locations
ServiceArc is operated from the United States. Providers may process information in the United States and other countries where they operate.
We do not promise that information stays in one country. Where applicable law requires transfer safeguards, those safeguards must be arranged for the processing.
9. Your choices and rights
You can request access, correction, export, or deletion by email. Depending on your location and applicable law, additional rights may apply.
These may include limiting processing, objecting to processing, withdrawing consent where processing relies on it, or appealing a request decision.
We may request information to verify your identity and authority. We respond within the time required by applicable law and explain any permitted refusal.
For records controlled by your service contractor, we will refer the request to that business and help it respond.
You may also contact your local privacy regulator where that right applies. Exercising your rights will not result in unlawful discrimination.
10. Children
ServiceArc is intended for adult business users and is not directed to children under 13.
We do not knowingly collect information directly from children under 13. Contact us if you believe a child has provided information.
11. Policy updates
We will update the date when this Policy changes. We will give notice of material changes by email or in the service.
We will obtain consent where required before using previously collected information for a materially different purpose.
