Terms of Service
The agreement for using ServiceArc with your business and Housecall Pro account.
Last updated: October 21, 2026Version 2026-10-21
1. Who you are agreeing with
ServiceArc is operated by William Humble, an individual based in Virginia, USA. In these Terms, “ServiceArc,” “we,” and “us” mean William Humble.
These Terms apply when you accept them. “You” means the person accepting, or the business they are authorized to represent.
You must be at least 18 and have authority to enter this agreement. ServiceArc is a business service.
The Data Processing Addendum forms part of these Terms. The Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information.
2. What ServiceArc does
ServiceArc helps you view and organize connected business data, build customer lists, and plan work. Available features may change as the product develops.
Connecting Housecall Pro authorizes ServiceArc to retrieve, store, and process records needed for the features you use, including historical records and later updates.
When you confirm a booking or another supported change, you authorize the corresponding action in Housecall Pro.
Imported records can be delayed, incomplete, or out of date. Check important details in Housecall Pro before relying on them.
ServiceArc is not a backup service. Keep your own records. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service, a particular refresh interval, or business results.
3. Your account and connected services
Keep your account information accurate and your login credentials secure. Tell us promptly about suspected misuse.
Only connect accounts you are authorized to use. You remain responsible for your users, API permissions, and compliance with Housecall Pro’s terms.
Housecall Pro is a separate provider. ServiceArc is an independent product and is not endorsed by Housecall Pro.
Third-party changes, limits, or outages can affect ServiceArc. Revoking an API key stops access through that key but does not erase copies already imported.
4. Your data and permissions
You retain your rights in the data you provide or connect (“Customer Data”). We do not acquire ownership of it.
You give us permission to host, copy, process, and transmit Customer Data as needed to provide, support, and secure ServiceArc.
That permission includes using the service providers described in the Data Processing Addendum. It does not permit selling Customer Data or training AI models.
You are responsible for having the rights, notices, and lawful basis required to provide Customer Data and instruct its processing.
You are also responsible for communications you send using customer lists, including any required marketing consent or opt-out process.
5. Acceptable use
Use ServiceArc lawfully and within the permissions granted to you.
- Do not access another person’s account or data without permission.
- Do not disrupt the service, bypass access controls, or use it for fraud, unlawful surveillance, or unsolicited unlawful messages.
- Do not upload passwords, full payment-card details, government identification numbers, or regulated health records into notes or imported fields.
- Do not provide other sensitive data that ServiceArc does not need for the business features you use.
6. Fees and changes to the service
Any fees, billing schedule, renewal terms, and cancellation terms must be disclosed in a separate plan or written agreement you accept.
These Terms alone do not authorize a charge. We will give notice before applying a change to agreed fees.
We may change or discontinue features. Where practical, we will give advance notice of changes that materially reduce the service you use.
7. Rights in ServiceArc
We and our licensors retain rights in ServiceArc’s software, design, and branding. You may use the service during this agreement, subject to these Terms.
You may give feedback voluntarily. We may use it to improve ServiceArc without payment or an obligation to implement it.
8. Suspension and ending your account
You may request account closure by email. You can also revoke ServiceArc’s API access in Housecall Pro.
We may suspend access to address misuse, security risks, legal requirements, or a material breach of these Terms.
Where reasonable, we will explain the issue and allow time to fix it. Urgent risks may require immediate action.
We may end the service with reasonable notice. Data return and deletion follow the Data Processing Addendum.
Account closure and data deletion require a request. Disconnecting Housecall Pro alone does not request deletion.
9. Warranties
To the extent allowed by law, ServiceArc is provided “as is” and “as available.”
We disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, to the extent allowed by law.
Nothing here removes a warranty or right that applicable law does not allow us to exclude.
10. Limits of liability
To the extent allowed by law, neither party is liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages under this agreement.
This includes lost profits, revenue, or business opportunities, even if the party knew such loss was possible.
Each party’s total liability is limited to the greater of US $100 or fees you paid ServiceArc during the preceding 12 months.
These limits do not apply to fraud, willful misconduct, your unpaid agreed fees, or liability that the law does not permit limiting.
These limits do not restrict an individual’s rights under applicable privacy law.
11. Governing law and disputes
Virginia law governs these Terms, excluding its conflict-of-law rules, unless mandatory law requires otherwise.
Please contact us first to try to resolve a dispute. This does not prevent either party from seeking urgent relief.
Subject to mandatory legal rights, disputes will be brought in a Virginia state court or federal court with jurisdiction in Virginia.
These Terms do not require arbitration or waive rights that cannot lawfully be waived.
12. Updates and contact
We will post revised Terms with a new date. Material changes will receive notice by email or in the service before taking effect.
Where renewed agreement is required, we will ask for it. Changes do not retroactively alter an existing dispute.
These Terms, the Addendum, and any agreed plan form our agreement. The Addendum controls conflicts about processing Customer Personal Data.
An unenforceable provision does not invalidate the rest. A delay in enforcing a right does not waive it.
